Where I would like to be in 10 years (or more)
Hello again, lovelies! Hope everyone is well and good. (I have an ear infection so yay for that...) Anyway, today it's all about the future. :) Enjoy!
So, everyone has hopes and dreams, right? Things like traveling, a dream job, opening a bakery, etc...
Dreams aren't meant to be realistic or even achievable in the near future, but rather give a person something to work towards. Something to hold on to when the classes get hard and the world seems to be against you. What are my hopes and dreams? Well, let me tell you.
1. Go to college for architecture.
This has been a dream of mine for a while now, and I'm just as excited as I was when I first realized that's what I want to do! My favorite architecture style is combining modern and traditional. (See picture below)
2. Move to an apartment in Seoul, South Korea
This is a fairly recent dream, as my best friend and her mom visited Seoul not too long ago and another friend moved to Busan last month. Why Seoul? I love Korea (in case you haven't already figured that out), and I am dying to learn the language, get to know the people, and experience the culture that I have fallen so in love with.
3. Go back to college to become a Korean/English translator
This is one of those more unrealistic dreams, but a dream nonetheless. Of course, I have to learn Korean first (working on it!), but I have a feeling it would be worth it. Korean is such a beautiful language.
안녕하세요!- Hello!
대박! -Awesome!
4. Get married
I suppose I should include this one. Yes, I do want to get married, but I guess it's just something that will happen one day. This isn't really something I can be like, "Yep! Working towards the thought of getting married!" or "Well, school is hard right now, but I really want to get married someday, so I have to do it." I need someone to share in my adventures and have similar desires as me, so until that happens, I will continue to live out my life until God puts a guy in it to draw me closer to him.
(By the way if anyone asks me this^^, you'll pretty much make my entire life and may be stuck with me forever. Just letting you know.)
5. The most important: Walk with God as closely as possible my entire life!
I have been struggling a bit with this one, but it is by far the most important. God knows your deepest desires, and wants the best for you. I have my hopes and dreams all planned out, but these things rarely go as planned. So, take the risk, trust God, and you never know where you'll end up.
Well, that about covers the main ones! There are so many more smaller ones, but I would end up typing forever. I hope I have inspired you to dream big! Remember, shoot for the moon! Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars. Except it's actually very unlikely that you'll land among the stars unless your calculations went terribly wrong. Let me rephrase that: Shoot for the moon! Even if you miss, there is a chance an alien could pick you up and you can live out your days in harmony on Mars with your troubles behind you.
Live long and prosper and God bless!
